Course:Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR & AED for Healthcare Provider
Course Description:The BLS, CPR & AED Course is a course primarily for individuals who are currently working in the healthcare profession (EMTs, Paramedics, CNAs, LVNs, RNs, etc.) This is an instructor led class that uses the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS instructional video along with hands-on skills practice. You will learn how to perform CPR using a bag valve mask (BVM) on adults, children and infants. Also covered in the course is AED use and what to do if you have an adult, child or infant that is choking. You will receive an AHA certification card after successful completion of a hands-on skills check-off and a written exam. The cost of this course is $35.00 which includes the BLS workbook/student manual and certification card.
Classes will be held on a monthly basis, provided a minimum of five students are enrolled prior to 72 hours of the scheduled class time.
