Assistant Chief Jeff Davis

Assistant Chief Jeff Davis began his career with Georgetown Fire Department in 1998. He was promoted to Assistant Chief in 2014. He is an alumni of Texas State University and completed his Master of Public Administration degree in 2012. Chief Davis was a recipient of the Fire Services Employee of the Year Award in 2006. He is the Pipe Major and one of the founding members of the Georgetown Fire Department Pipe Band.

Assistant Chief Davis also oversees the Fire Administration Division.

The Georgetown Fire Administration and Support Services ensures that quality services are provided to the community by directing and supporting all divisions in the Georgetown Fire Department.

In order to ensure the efficient daily operations of the fire department, Georgetown Fire Support Services provides:

    • budget management
    • technical assistance
    • interdepartmental coordination

Other administrative duties include:

    • records requests
    • materials and equipment acquisition
    • payroll processing
    • managing clerical duties and special projects
