Logistics

Assistant Chief Clay Shell is a fourth-generation firefighter. He began his employment with the Georgetown Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter in 1987 and became a full-time firefighter in 1989. In 2000, he was promoted to Assistant Fire Chief of the Fire Operations Division. Chief Shell currently oversees the Logistics Section of the department.

Chief Shell has also served as an an adjunct instructor for the ACC Fire Academy and as an instructor for Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) at the Annual Municipal Fire School.
