Commercial Burn Permits

A Commercial Burn is generally accomplished by general contractors in a commercial construction application using an air curtain incinerator (ACI): An incinerator that operates by forcefully projecting a curtain of air across an open chamber or pit in which combustion occurs.

    • Incinerators of this type may be constructed above or below ground and with or without refractory walls or floor.

    • An air trench or burn box operation promotes efficient burning, producing less smoke and less fire embers.
